I'm having trouble pairing (or re-pairing) my AC to the app copyUpdated 9 months ago

Please follow these steps to connect your device:

  1. Ensure you're using a 2.4G WiFi network (mostly all smart devices use this network type for pairing)
  2. Confirm you're using the correct app for your device: 
  3. Follow these instructions exactly for the Windmill AC (blue icon) app:
  4. Follow these instructions exactly for the Windmill Air (white icon) app:

To re-pair or re-connect your device (if the connection is lost or you reset your WiFi), please do the following:

  1. Delete the device from the app (select the device tile, go to settings in the upper right, and remove/delete the device)
  2. Reset the WiFi on the AC by holding down the WiFi button for 5 seconds
  3. Add the device again as normal. Make sure to follow steps 1-4 in the above section!
