How to set a timer:

Create new automation →  Scene → Add action →  “Wait, then do something” → set your timer → + button to add action → pick action such as control device: power on

How to set a schedule:

Create new automation →  Schedule → Pick your time/cadence → Add action →  Choose the action you want to happen at that time
