How can I connect the Windmill AC to the mobile app?Updated 4 hours ago

The Windmill app is available for iPhone and Android. First, download the app by searching "Windmill Air".

Once you've downloaded the app and registered your account, please do the following:

1. Start Setup: Open the Windmill app, tap the plus (+) icon in the top right, and select Add Device.
2. Connect to AC: When the pop-up appears asking to join the "Windmill AC" network, tap Join.
3. Select Wi-Fi: Choose your home Wi-Fi network from the list. (Make sure it is a 2.4 GHz network!)
4. Enter Password: Type in your Wi-Fi password and tap Continue.
5. Syncing: Wait a moment while the app cycles through the configuration checkmarks. Keep your phone near the AC.
6. Name Your Unit: Once it says "Device is Ready," type in a name for your AC (like "Living Room") and tap Finish.
7. Control: You’re all set! You can now adjust the temperature and fan speed directly from your home screen.

Note: You may have to repeat a couple times until it connects, depending on your phone and how closely you hold it to the unit's WiFi module (closer the better). Once you're connected successfully, you won't need WiFi to control your Windmill AC (you can do it from anywhere where you have data!).
